Mayfest’s KidZone will once again be located on the H.A. Chapman Centennial Green at 6th and Main and will feature hands-on activities for children of all ages as well as family-friendly entertainment during this year’s festival, May 17th – 20th.

For the second year, the Tulsa Geosciences Center is hosting a fossil dig where young explorers can dig in sand in search of genuine fossils. Every child who participates will be allowed to take home their favorite find.

The Tulsa Children’s Museum in partnership with the Walton Family Foundation will once again bring their Family Music Festival to KidZone on Saturday, May 19th. Musical acts include Farmer Jason, Sara Hickman and many more. The Tulsa Children’s Museum is also providing games on the Green on Saturday afternoon.

Back by popular demand is The Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis’s Bear Clinic from 11am – 2pm on Saturday, May 19th. Children will be given a free teddy bear that they can decorate and then take through the clinic for a “check-up.” The program is intended to ease any fears a child might have about hospitals and doctors.
